Industry Night is an event that supports local creatives and showcases Charlotte's growing music and arts scene while promoting inclusion, innovation, and collaboration.
Given that November is ‘Hip Hop History Month’, this event will celebrate and bring awareness to an era, The ‘90s, that was so instrumental/pivotal to the nuance of the music genre that we have all come to appreciate. During this month, Hip Hop enthusiasts are encouraged to create, learn, and honor the genre’s cultural contributors and history. Hosted in a 3800 square foot space that includes over 40 areas of wall-to-wall ‘90s designs, all hand-painted by local artists, ‘Home of the 90’s Museum’ pays homage to the cultural significance of the decade through art, which has been the longest standing expressive medium for creatives of color. To top it off, the space itself is owned by two African-American women and Hip Hop lovers.
