Red Bull Dance Your Style
The South brought its own flavor to the Red Bull Dance Your Style Auditions, as the city of Charlotte played host for the first time ever. The event featured epic one-on-one battles where dancers showcased their improvisational skills and captivated the audience with their unpredictability. Hosted by Ohavia Phillips and DJ Micki Blendz providing a spontaneous soundtrack, 44 dancers brought their own unique rhythm and flair to their battles. After Dread and Suzie Q emerged as the winners after pushing for multiple tie-breakers, they earned the judges' vote and advanced to the Regional Qualifier at Heaven at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA on May 13, 2022. The crowd was also treated to a special showcase performance by Urban Abstract Project, making the event one to remember for all who attended.
